Marbella East stretches from the edge of the old town toward Cabopino, encompassing some of the coast's most desirable beachfront pockets. It is greener and more spacious than the centre, favoured by families and those seeking a quieter, resort-style rhythm without sacrificing proximity to town.

Los Monteros and Río Real offer mature, established communities beside championship golf; Elviria and Cabopino bring some of Marbella's best blue-flag beaches and a charming marina. Throughout, generous plots and a relaxed atmosphere define the appeal.

From Los Monteros to Cabopino

Each pocket of the east side has its own character. Río Real and Los Monteros are long-established, leafy enclaves beside the beach and golf, home to a five-star hotel and one of the coast's best-known beach clubs. Elviria rises gently into the hills with sea views, international schools and the famous Nikki Beach nearby, while Cabopino combines a pretty marina with the protected Artola dunes and one of the area's most natural stretches of coastline.

Beaches and golf

This is Marbella's beach-and-golf heartland. The blue-flag beaches here are among the cleanest and least crowded in the municipality, and courses such as Río Real, Santa Clara, Marbella Golf and Santa María put a varied round within minutes of home. The combination makes the east side especially popular for active families and second-home owners.

Family-friendly space

What ties Marbella East together is room to breathe. Plots are generally larger than in the centre, the setting is greener, and the pace is calmer — yet the old town and the Golden Mile are only a short drive west. Property ranges from beachfront villas and gated communities to spacious apartments and townhouses, often at better value per square metre than addresses closer to Puerto Banús.
